Following Earth Day that was last week. D&J Medical & MDOP have entered a challenge provided by Trex! It started April 1st 2019 and for the next 6 months we are collecting PLASTIC! ALL kinds of plastic bags! The goal is to collect 500lbs of plastic in that time! We will keep you all updated as we move closer to our goal. If/when we meet the goal. We will win a free bench, if that happens we would like to donate it to a local park. Let us know if you have any parks in mind!

How D&J Compression is serving rural communities and areas without a DME:

"Too often on my travels I speak with therapists in isolated communities or areas that do not have a DME close by. This creates problems for you and the patient’s garments. Many times, this also can mean that you as therapists cannot get the garment that you want for your patients because of their expenses and finances.

This is where D&J Compression comes in. We have experienced fitters on hand for video conferencing or to phone in and speak about what best possible garments are available, what the patient’s insurance reimbursement looks like, and how to best fit the patient. While we do not send fitters to your specific location, you as therapists already have 90% of the measurements done (typically all of the girth measurements). We only need the length and we can then transpose those numbers to the garment of your choice. If any more info is needed, we are on hand for you or the patient to fill in the rest."
