This is a 5000 acre ranch open to commercial hunting the first time in 25 years. The size taken is without limit on points, 1 buck, 2 Javalina, wild hogs and unlimited predators.

Hunters lead the way in wildlife conservation.

The country of Tanzania does an outstanding job of protecting its natural resources and utilizing all the tools available in its toolbox to do so - including sustainable regulated hunting.

Here are some water cooler facts:

In total about 40% of the TOTAL land mass of Tanzania is protected / conserved. Thats almost TRIPLE what the United States does (~13%).

Hunting areas account for 50% more land conserved than all National Parks combined.

28% of all the land in Tanzania is conserved by hunting concessions.

If you asked any conservation scientist what is THE critical component for wildlife conservation? They will all say the same thing - habitat protection.

Next time you hear folks talking about banning hunting - ask them a simple question who will take over protecting these areas? These habitats?

I have learned much the last few years in outfitters versus my first twenty years booking hunts. I have booked world wide and know the business well. What is happening in Africa, Spain, Argentina, Mexico and Asia when it comes to outfitters and guides deceiving clients is astronomical.
Just yesterday I sat with an Government Wildlife Official from Spain giving me the ins and outs of Spains outfitters and the pricing and fraud is incredible. What American hunters are sold and what actual illegal tactics are are deplorable. There are good operators in Spain but there are downright thieves in the industry. This is not news to anyone, but with the internet and FB ability to sell direct to the client goes mostly unchecked the numbers of complaints this Government Agent has in recent years has nearly reached 100 fold.
I’m not here to call out individuals by name nor will I, I’m too busy for that!
My objective is two fold protect our American hunters from these shysters and in several instances help shut down a few of these shady operators.

My advice is be very careful when you arrange a hunt straight off FB or Instagram. Hunts are so expensive that it is more lucrative to rob an American Hunter today than robbing a bank!
