Costa Rica is a beautiful country filled with amazing people and gorgeous landscapes. This is not a vacation to hang at the beach or pool, but to EXPLORE!! One of our adventures took us to the rainforest where we saw so many sloths! The driver would stop and point them out to us… we saw many 5 or 6 before getting to the conservation area where we got up and close to this cute guy!

Another trip accomplished! This was our first post-Covid trip to the parks & the first time going in June. It was busier than our previous visits, but the combo of rope dropping and Genie+ ensured that we never waited in line!

IMO, Disneyland’s LL & ILL process is way easier than WDW. You start booking rides after you walk through the gates. We booked rides & cleared rides constantly and never needed the 2-hour break. Everyone loved Rise of the Resistance & it was well worth the extra ILL purchase. I’d recommend doing it early in the day - so if it breaks down, you still have plenty of time to catch it later (with the same IlL of course)! Having a pr***en now meant never slowing down for parades, characters or shows. It was go-go-go! But, we had time for a few new things this time. We did the riverboat tour and saw a new view of Splash Mountain. I never put together that the ride went under the walkway 🤦🏼‍♀️ And at DCA, we took a night-time moment to walkthrough Redwood Creek, which is an amazing spot to let the littles run!

We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and loved our stay. The security line was always a breeze & we frequently used the entrance at Grand Cali for quicker access into DCA… even though it meant 2 bag checks/security checks.

If you want a tropical vacation, but want to stay in the US, then call me so we can discuss a trip to JW Marriott Marco Island. You will love it!! Here is the rundown….
*Rooms are modern and spacious. Big bathroom area with an amazing shower.
*Lots of dining options & food was great. Great coffee shop with some gluten-free options. Of course, you will be paying resort prices.
*Lounge chairs fill up fast & they have many that are premium spots that you can reserve ahead of time.
*Two great pool areas. One is better designed for smaller kiddos with a little slide. No thrills for pr***en+ aged kids.
*Big, beautiful beach with lots of loungers and umbrellas. Very active, with corn hole and volleyball games constantly going on. This is where your older kids will want to stay!
*Daily pool and beach activities - from limbo to sand castle building classes.
*Onsite jet skis, kayaking, parasailing, etc.
*Amazing arcade - like a mini Dave & Busters. Games average $1.50 per play and the prizes are limited, but the kids loved it.
*Adult areas too - Serene tower is 21+ and has a great patio, bar/restaurant and pool. Fantastic spa with a pool, plunge pools, sauna, steam room, salon, and of course spa services.
*Room key is a bracelet that you wear. Super convenient!
*Amazing sunsets. AMAZING!

I had a chance to sneak up to the adult patio and pool area …. and it was amazing! Serene and the best views of the beach… If you are traveling here without kids, I highly recommend booking the adults only tower!

The dolphin tour/shelling adventure hosted by was fantastic! We saw several dolphins while we sailed to a beach loaded with sand dollars and conch shells!
