Have you ever hiked at Elk K**b State Park? Only about 35-40 minutes from and you can find views from NC to VA. There are several trails at the park but our favorite is the Summit Trail, about four miles round trip. Hike is moderate but the reward at the top is amazing. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the views!

has some really exciting news….. it has a new sister property on the same mountain 🏔️

has views, a hot tub, and was recently partially renovated with all new furniture, decor, a basement overhaul, and all the special touches that the owners know are important to guests.

The properties are about a five minute walk from each other and are perfect for larger groups that need their own space, wedding groups (bride’s group and groom’s group in separate cabins), etc .

You’ve never seen the NC mountains like this!🏔

This past week we had the opportunity to work with Kyle at Unseen Pass and enjoy the local views off the beaten path in an open air Roxor!!! Kyle was amazing to work with and mapped out an exact route for us that allowed the kids to play in the river as well as allowed us to reach the highest peaks in the area for amazing views. 🌅

Next time you visit View and Far Between, you need to rent a Roxor and explore the New River area and mountains passes. Whether this is your first time in the NC mountains or you’ve been coming here for years, you have never experienced the mountains like this!!!

It's so rewarding getting to host such fantastic guests and we just enjoy hearing about families making memories at our mountain home...recent review from one of those great guests...

"We were in the area for some family tubing fun at Sugar Mountain and booked this cabin for a couple of nights as our home base. This was by far one of our most favorite AirBnBs we’ve ever stayed at. We wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back. The cabin is awesome and has so many fun amenities. There were board games for the family to play together inside and darts and other games outside. The cabin is nice and clean inside and the beds very comfortable. Lastly, the views from the upstairs porch can’t be beat - just breathtaking. Jeremy and Lindsay were great hosts. They left us a gift in the kitchen and were very helpful and responsive during our stay. I can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the hosts. We’ve been on a weeklong vacation traveling around the mountains and we wish we had spent the whole time at Jeremy and Lindsay’s cabin."
