I wanted to share some post hurricane updates with you all. Bunche Beach is closed indefinitely due to Hurricane damage, so unfortunately our location there will remain closed until the park reopens. Our Pelican bay location at Excursions Marina, which is only a couple miles away, will hopefully reopen in early November. We will keep you posted on the exact opening date. We will be offering guided Kayak and Paddleboard tours as well as rentals daily there.
On a brighter note, we welcomed back our first wave of white pelicans today, which summer in the Midwest and central Canada. They might have been a little surprised to see this area look a bit different than they left it this spring.
