I had the opportunity to be the Key Grip for the South Dakota Unit for the film, "Dandelion." This was a fun film to work on, had an amazing crew and actors; plus we shot on actual film.

The story of "Dandelion," follows a singer-songwriter in a downward spiral as she takes a last effort gig at a motorcycle rally in South Dakota where she meets Casey, a guitarist who walked away from his dream long ago.

This film is getting a theatrical release, but don't know where. Be on the lookout, and enjoy the trailer.

Can you believe it? As of September 2023, Gator Grip and Lighting turned 10 years old! What a wild ride its been! Very grateful for all those who helped support my endeavor and to all the friends I have made throughout the years. Can’t wait to see what happens next!

Whether on ice or sidewalk, our MOVMAX All-Terrain Rickshaw is pretty versatile, and able to help get some great shots. The Hockey Pucks was an easy mod I did for it, and worked like a charm.

A couple years back, I worked on a heartfelt film with the Minnesota Unit as the Key Grip / Dolly Grip. The DP Rich Brauer was amazing, the crew and actors crushed it.

"Let Me Have My Son" is based on the true story of Writer-Director Cristóbal Krusen, and his compelling journey with his firstborn son's devastating mental illness. I have not seen the film yet, but it looks like I might need a box of tissues.

Don’t know what was more fun… doing some vehicle rigging, or watching a very talented horse trainer have her horse rear-up on command just by raising her hands and talking gently to it. An amazing shoot for the Denver Broncos with a top notch team.

What a great week! here is a second movie trailer that dropped this week that I had a pleasure of working on. This was another fun film, filled with so much talent.
The DP I worked with showed me a few new tricks, and the Art Department was the hardest working group of people out there; Plus I had the best G&E crew!.
Look for this one in theaters starting December 2nd, and if our theaters don't carry it, I am sure it will start streaming next year. And if you look closely, I made a cameo... well, the back of my head anyway haha.

Gator Grip and Lighting had the pleasure of working with some amazingly talented cast and crew on the the epic western, "The Last Son."

We shot all over the Crazy Mountain Ranch in Clyde Park, MT. The first day we shot, the sun was shining, and the birds were singing. However, the rest of the shoot was cold and snowing (except the last day... back to sunshine).

I was the Key Grip / Dolly Grip on this project, and Gator Grip and Lighting provided the film with only the best equipment to help tell the story.

What a wild ride the last couple years have been. Luckily, despite everything, I was still fortunate enough to work with some of the most talented crews on the planet and create some stunning videos. Some films I have worked on are still in post-production, so can't share those (yet). Gator Grip and Lighting sporting a new toy. The Lightstar Luxed-9. 1620w Bi-Color LED. Each panel can be controlled separately, DMX Capable, and it comes with a softbox.
Almost as bright as an Arri M18 and brighter than a studio 5k at 10ft. Amazing light quality.
