Villains will take center stage at the new "Villains : Unfairly Ever After" when the new show debuts this summer at Hollywood Studios.

The show has been in the works for more than 2 years. Guests will experience cutting-edge stage design, thrilling effects, and catchy live musical numbers that will celebrate the villains everyone loves to hate.

Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Maleficent, and others will employee the Magic Mirror to help prove they are misunderstood. The audience can then decide!

It will be wonderful to have this new entertainment at Hollywood Studios - especially for those who are villain fans!

A brand-new nighttime parade will premiere at the Magic Kingdom this Summer and I could not be more excited.

I'm not a huge parade fan, but the nighttime parades really appeal to me and I have missed this sort of event at Disney.

“Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” will draw inspiration from the rich history of nighttime parades at Magic Kingdom and will include floats dedicated to Disney animation characters both old and new!

Plus there will be thousands of twinkling lights!!!

As soon as I have a firm date of this premiere, I'll let you know. You will want to have this one on your "must do" list for your visit to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

The Disneyland version of Haunted Mansion has been closed for a brief refurbishment and it reopens today!

There are two big updates that happened during the closure. The biggest is with the attic scene, a new bride has arrived! The bride is now done with projections and appears to be floating. She also has a new story to tell.

The new bride is not a murderer who beheaded her husbands, she is now mourning the loss of her husbands. The pictures of her husbands remain, but their entire bodies disappear versus just their heads. This leaves us to wonder how the men have met their demise? Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Oh, and the outdoor queue was also expanded so you have more space to wait on your turn to enter your Doom Buggy.

Be sure and get a Lightning Lane Multi-Pass for Haunted Mansion at Disneyland - everyone will be anxious to see the new scenes!

Finally, there are a la carte ticket options to Epic Universe at Universal Studios Orlando!

This 4th park at the USO resort opens May 22, 2025.

Previously only vacation packages with 5 day park tickets and an added 1 day to Epic Universe ticket was available.

I do recommend a minimum 2 day park-to-park ticket for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Two days at Epic Universe would be the best way to enjoy all of this new park. Visiting Volcano Bay is up to you - depends on whether or not you enjoy water parks.

Epic Universe includes 5 portals - Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, Wizarding World of Harry Potter Ministry of Magic, and How to Train Your Dragon Isle of Berk.

There's also a brand new hotel inside the new park, Helios Grand, and it has a wonderful price point.

It is going to be Epic!

Did you know that there is a portrait studio inside Sir Mickey's at the Magic Kingdom?

This adorable little shop is on the back side of Cinderella Castle.

There is no appointment necessary, and they even have great props you can use in the many different backgrounds.

If you have purchased Memory Maker then these photos are included. Or you can purchase and download from your My Disney Experience account when you get home.

The whole family can even get in the picture!

This is a great option for anyone who is too shy for the character photos or has maybe already done that!

So checkout Sir Mickey's the next time you visit the Magic Kingdom!

It's National Hot Tea Day! Who knew that was a thing?

Anway, if you know me, you know I love tea. My sister and I will get a chance to experience the Roses of Gold afternoon tea at the Cake Bake Shop at Disney's Boardwalk Resort later this month, and I'm very excited.

Tea is generally my "go to" souvenir at Walt Disney World. I used to purchase a new tea cup from the little tea shop in the UK at Epcot. Now I stop in and stock up on my favorite teas each visit.

I can't wait to give you all a report on our tea at the Cake Bake Shop - I hope they have souvenir tea cups!

If more travel was one of your New Year's resolutions, there are several travel requirements going into effect in 2025.

#1 is Real ID. Make sure your identification is up to date because starting May 7th, the use of REAL ID will be enforced at airports and some federal facilities. U.S. travelers must be REAL ID compliant in order to board domestic flights.

For most states this is indicated on your driver's license with a "gold star" in the upper right corner.

You can check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles to see if you are compliant.
