Mike Mandracchia's FaceBook post highlighting his adventures on NatureScape Tours recent trip to Thailand with Kim Risen. "One of the most interesting birds I saw on my Thailand Trip was a Parrotbill. Although the look somewhat like Parrots, they are not related to parrots, not even close. Instead they are closely related to Sylvid Warblers, a group of Old World Warblers. It was such an odd looking bird that Ornithologist named the Genus Paradoxornis." Thank you Mike for joining us on this great trip and allowing us to share these wonderful photos.

For the past two months, Northern Minnesota has been my home. I've loved living amongst the boreal birds and showing people the beauty of my homeland. Here are a few of my favorite shots with some experiences I had during the winter season. Spring is in the air though and as the winter birds head north, it's time for me to head south! I hope some of you can join me in my explorations of Minnesota's Boreal Forests next winter!
