Mont Amore

Mont Amore Mont Amore was our vacation rental property in NC. It grew to be Vacay Services, Inc. dba Explorabout That is when we realized we were truly onto something.

Mont Amore is where it all began, among the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, in the exurbs of Asheville. In 2017, we converted our family's custom built home into a vacation rental. We learned how to share our slice of heaven to create the best memories for our guests. With the help of skilled property managers, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work modifying the mountain retreat to suit the fam

ilies staying for a weekend or a few months. New beds and sleeping configurations, a dog friendly deck, adding an array of amenities was only part of it. We sought out to educate our visitors all of the many wonderful activities nearby. The unique experiences that are native to the area and thoroughly enjoyed by all (including us!). It became our passion to share and promote the many wonderful tours, activities and experience available. Did you know that this area is the craft capital of the world? There is so much to do and learn in the local forests, a wide array of waterfalls nearby range from mild to difficult. Little Switzerland is an ideal spot for dinner, Hendersonville is a creative town nearby, but nothing beats the downtown of our very own Bursnville. Mont Amore grew into Vacay Services Inc., and then we dialed in to create Explorabout. Our mission is to share the many wonderful adventures along the east coast of our great USA, where adventure is everywhere. Follow us at www.explorabout.com, because exploring is what life is all about.

Although today marks the official beginning of fall, fall colors have already been appearing around Grandfather Mountain for weeks, especially at its highest elevations. But don't fret, the main event is still to come!

While there is no bad time to visit the park, fall presents a truly unique period as many of the plants and trees, such as the pumpkin-colored beech trees, blood-red sourwoods and rusty red oaks, burst with vibrant hues.

Ensure your fall adventure during one of the park's busiest times of the year by booking in advance at grandfather.com/tickets.

As long as autumn lasts, I shall not have hands, canvas, and colors enough to paint the beautiful things I see - Vincent Van Gogh

The trees are coming into their fall color, take a walk in these mountains, the contrast of the greens, reds, and yellows is amazing!

We here at the shop are so inspired to create as Vincent Van Gogh stated. The air is crisp like good cider, the sky so blue. We gather all this beauty and pour it into our work.

Stop at the shop to see our new creations!

You are an important force for protecting the night. Light pollution can:

• disrupt wildlife

• contribute to climate change
• block our view of the universe

This is more than a , this is huge thank you to all who serve and protect our freedom. This is also where it all began. On this special day, Veteran's Day, we took our new marine to our vacation cabin to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Smokies. It was meant to be a reward for boot camp, but on this mountain top it became clear that it was time to pursue my dream. Driven to bring awareness of the many amazing things to do and experiences in our magnificent country, Explorabout is here today. Thank you to all the brave men and women who allow us to pursue our passions.
