Not really a secret, but a great tip when traveling is to ask the locals where they like to go! The internet is a great resource for recommendations, but it's just not the same as hearing from people who have likely tried everything in the area. This morning I walked to a nearby coffee shop and tried two different things (check out the stars on the menu)!

The best part of visiting Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in Disney Springs was meeting him! He offered to take a photo before I could even ask and he even tried to hold Scarlett. She wasn't having it, though. He seemed to be casually meeting with the staff. He even had a Disney name tag!

When we travel to Disney World, the restaurants at which we eat are very important to us! One of our top two favorite places is Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' located in Disney Springs. We were only there for 4 days this trip and went twice. Scroll through the photos for descriptions of our favorite menu items. We even had a little surprise this visit! PSA for using a Travel Agent: I quoted a client on Saturday morning and within a very short window of time, the resort they wanted was booked up. However, I was able to do some "magic" and bam....today I was able to get them the length of stay they were dreaming for at Boardwalk Inn!

I have so many new followers that I'd like to reintroduce myself! I have been planning Disney vacations since 2015. Not only do I plan "once in a lifetime" vacations to Disney World in Florida, but I also book trips to Disneyland in California, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani (Disney's resort in Hawaii) and Adventures by Disney. I have also expanded my business to include Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines, as well all-inclusive Sandals and Beaches properties. I love traveling with my husband and daughter!

We met Mommy's favorite character, Jack Sparrow! When I told him her name was the same as his "friend" Scarlett, his eyes bulged and said, "You're don't know Scarlett, do you?" He was very worried I would tell her where he is and he said he did not want to get slapped today. He told my Scarlett that she is living in the lap of luxury. He wishes he could be pushed around and have a drink (and snack)!

Wow....no waste in Disney!

we recycle the life-size gingerbread displays at our resorts after the holiday season is over?

Gingerbread is removed and composted, leaving behind royal icing on the wooden structures. The structures are then brought to our Disney tree farm, and the sugar keeps declining populations of local bees well-fed during the winter.

Happy New Year from Port Orleans Riverside! We celebrated by roasting marshmallows and going to Disney Springs. Someone wanted to buy muffins and as you can see was not happy to be told no.
