Here's some good things to know about PCB. Remember that when you rent at Beach Path, you are on the preferred East End of the beach - less crowded - a large beachfront right outside your door (700 linear feet!) - less traffic although in June and July it can still get backed up - and you are right next to St. Andrews State Park and have their beachfront a step away.

What is Crazy? Very windy...Gulf churned up...Red flag Hopefully they will still be alive for Thanksgiving.

Temps were very low the week of Christmas this year. Check out the steam coming off the water! Thank you to Rhody Morrow for the film!

Sure, this is pretty -- and it's why there are Double Red Flags flying. Please be aware that it is Wonderful to look at and Dangerous to play in. We have been watching little kids, teenagers and all ages play in this water over the last few days. Thankfully, we just watched the police stop and order about 8 teens out of the surf. We had renters that witnessed a drowning during their vacation. They learned the lesson and we hope that you learn too. I cannot imagine loosing a family member on vacation, but read on: From the newspaper: Despite the use of warning flags and signs warning beachgoers of dangerous surf conditions, more than 200 beachgoers have drowned in the past 30 years along the 22-mile beachfront, according to Florida Health Department records. The pace of drownings this year is on track to surpass the previous high count of 13 drownings in 2002. And for each drowning, experts calculate there are usually dozens more incidents where a swimmer has to be medically evacuated from the beach for hospital treatment. Please enjoy the beauty of the Gulf and keep an eye on those flags! Double Red - Water Closed to Public Red - High Hazard Only swim during Yellow (be careful) or Green Flags. Do Not Let Your Vacation Be Your Last Vacation. Use the Pool!
