We took a scenic cruise through the bay up to Audubon Island today since it was a little rough in the Gulf. Audubon island is a little man made island that has become a nesting area for Brown Pelicans. It is the beginning of their nesting season now. I can't wait to cruise back by this island in a few weeks and see pelican chicks! We really enjoyed watching the dolphins playing close by also! Photos by Captian Lorraine Saturday, March 8, 2025.

We have been seeing every trip this winter! This was on today. Did you know Bald Eagles mate for life? This pair come back to their nest on Shell Island every year and they do currently have their juvenile chick hanging out with them! These magnificent birds only seem to hang around our area in the winter and early spring, so you'll most likely have to come on a tour in the off season to see them.
