EGYPT ITINERARY
Saturday, May 21: Depart United States
Depart Washington, DC Dulles International Airport on Egypt Air. Our non-stop flight includes meals, drinks and in-flight entertainment.
Sunday, May 22: Arrive Cairo, Egypt, Tour of Pyramids and the New Grand Museum
Arrive Cairo Airport. Our representative will meet and assist us through the airport formalities and obtaining a Visa. Transfer in a private A/C coach to the our hotel, where all of our deluxe rooms have a view of the Pyramids. Our rooms will be available although arriving in the early morning. After relaxing, we start the tour of the three great Giza Pyramids, Cheops, Chefren and Macarinos. Gaze upon the Great Sphinx, which has kept its secrets for centuries, and the Valley Temple. Then visit the New Grand Museum containing over 120,000 pieces of the Pharaonic Monuments and the brilliant collection of Tutankhamon. Enjoy a restful night.

Monday, May 23: Tour of Abu Simbel, Cruise Embarkation in Aswan
After breakfast, we are transferred to airport for flight to Abu Simbel. Upon arrival in Abu Simbel we visit the Great Temple Hewn, carved in rock, to marvel at the magnificent four colossal seated statues of King Ramses at the entrance of the Temple. Fly back to Aswan and board our 5-star, Movenpick Deluxe Cruise Ship. Enjoy cruising the Nile in your spacious, balcony staterooms, with floor-to-ceiling windows, exquisite cuisine, free internet and many other amenities.

Tuesday, May 24: Tour of Aswan
Touring Aswan, we visit the High Dam, the unfinished Obelisk, the Philae Temple and the Temple of Love for the Goddess Isis. Enjoy the afternoon Felucca Ride around Elephantine Island and Kitchener Botanical Island. Stroll around Aswan City Market with our guide. Return to cruise ship.

Wednesday, May 25: Edfu & Com Ombo Tour
After breakfast, visit the Falcon God Horus Edfu Temple and the Kom Ombo Temple of the Crocodile God Sobek, some of the most significant ancient Egyptian deities. Tonight, enjoy the Galabia Party on board.

Thursday, May 26: Luxor & Valley of the Kings
After breakfast, visit the East Bank of the Nile River to visit the Luxor Temple, originally joined to Karnak by an avenue of Sphinxes, and the Karnak Temple, which covers a huge area and includes several temples, the largest being the Temple of Amon. After lunch on cruise ship and disembarkation, we tour the West Bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of the Kings, where, for nearly 500 years, tombs were constructed for the Pharaohs, Kings and powerful nobles on the West Bank; and the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.

Friday, May 27: Luxor to Hurghada Resort on the Red Sea
After breakfast, we will be transferred to the beach resort city of Hurghada on Egypt’s Red Sea. Check in to the stunning Sunrise Mamlouk Palace Resort on the beach. Enjoy the many hotel amenities in addition to the area restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

Saturday, May 28: Hurghada Resort
Full day of leisure to relax on the beach, go scuba diving, snorkeling, or horseback riding, visit a Bedouin Village -- enjoy many more activities.

Sunday, May 29: Hurghada to Cairo

Monday, May 30: Shopping in Cairo and Departure
After breakfast, ‘Let’s Get Shopping’ – transfer to the Papyrus, Perfume and Jewelry Factories. Also, visit the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Transfer back to hotel for last minute packing and to airport for late night flight to U.S.
