Why do I keep going back to Walt Disney World?

If you don't know this about me, I didn't become a Disney fan until I was 30 years old. runDisney is what got me back to the parks and I haven't looked back.

I have always loved all kinds of amusement parks because I love thrill rides, but when I enter Disney property, my worries and anxiety melt away. I get to immerse myself in the magic for a bit and the only things I have to think about are what I am going to eat next and what attraction I am going to head to.

I have built my business helping hundreds of families with their own Disney vacations over the last 10 years in addition to visiting myself at least once a year since 2011.

Some people go to Disney for the rides, some go for the characters, and some for the food.

It's me. I am some people 🤣

This is not everything I ate last weekend, but I often plan my trips around meals and food stops. I have a few standard favorites but always try to experience something new on each trip.

This weekend consisted of:
✨ Festival food in Epcot
✨ 2 new (to me) character meals - breakfast at Crystal Palace and dinner at Artist Point
✨ My standard favorites of Joffrey's Shaken Jamaican cold brew and a chocolate dipped Mickey rice krispie treat

I had another ✨magical✨ runDisney race weekend at Walt Disney World!

Many miles were run (10k Saturday and a half marathon on Sunday) and fun memories were made! I loved seeing the Festival of the Arts at Epcot again and finally getting to experience Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

I had a couple new character meal experiences and can't wait to do a more in depth review for you all in the coming weeks on the blog.

In honor of my 4th Princess half marathon weekend coming up, I thought it would be fun to take a look at my past costumes!

I consider myself lucky that my mom taught me how to sew and my craftiness has come in handy at times!

2015 Belle was made by me with no pattern and just my imagination. I had to share my 2 favorite pictures from that weekend, one being my favorite race picture of all time (Heroes...it was a long wait but worth it).

2019 Jolly Holiday Mary was also made by me and a lot of fabric glue because I was lazy and didn't want to sew all the trim 🤣

It was also the year my whole family ran the 5k and I made Aaron do a simple version of Eric to match my simple version of Ariel.

2022 was a 5k and a group costume Mousekateer 10k.

2025? I decided I didn't want to buy anything or make anything, so I am wearing what I have. Which means it is another Crowned Athletics year (I might have a slight addiction to their flow tanks and skorts).

Today's client feature come from Steve and his family trip to Walt Disney World!

Steve, his wife, and their daughter's family had a great stay at Port Orleans Riverside and even got to enjoy the pool!

Steve highly recommends the shepherd's pie at Raglan Road at Disney Springs, which is just a quick and relaxing boat ride away from the resort. (Lisa's note: this is one of the reasons I love staying at Port Orleans Riverside!)
