Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete coil ID verification
Ensure tag information accuracy
Make sure diffusers, spiders and thermocouples are positioned correctly
Confirm pressure check is acceptable
Verify routing is initiated and completed
Taking Samples
Loading furnace, removing covers, unloading spiders and load cycle
Qualifications/Experience/Skill & Abilities::

Possesses a mechanical aptitude and is able to safely and properly use hand tools and competently use measuring tools such as calipers
Able to follow established processes in a safe and efficient manner
Able to follow detailed instructions
Able to learn how to use technical equipment such as a hydrogrometer, an analyzer (CO, CO2, and oxygen), voltmeters, hand tools, pressure switches, flow switches and proximity switches
Able to learn and understanding basic computer skills and two different operating systems
Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, pull, push and kneel constantly over a period of 8 to 12 hours a day; able to lift up to 40 pounds several times a day
Possesses a Hi-lo license or is able to learn and pass the Hi-lo curriculum and become licensed; able to learn and operate an overhead crane
Able to work in hot, dirty and noisy conditions for a period of 8 to 12 hours a day
Able and willing to wear protective clothing and personal protective equipment as required by OSHA and the company
Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; to record and calculate data as needed; able to read work instructions, customer requirements, prints and other technical documents
Able to do math calculations and work with numbers; able to work with fractions and decimals
Able to work as a team as well as work independently, with minimal supervision
Possesses an awareness of safe work habits and quality standards
Shift: 5AM - 5PM

5AM - 5PM, 12 hours shifts; rotates between Week 1 and Week 2

Example of rotation shift:

Week 1: works Mon & Tues, off Wed & Thurs, works Fri, Sat, Sun

Week 2: off Mon & Tues, works Wed & Thurs, off Fri, Sat, Sun

Thousands of manufacturers across the country opened their doors to showcase career opportunities available in the manufacturing industry.
MNP hosted students from Romeo High School. They were shown the steps involved with manufacturing and testing fasteners.

The weekend of August 2-4, many MNP employees volunteered their time to support the Suite Dreams organization remodel a house for a family in need.
The family consisted of a single mother and her 17 year old son, Jackson, who is battling brain cancer. Jackson was diagnosed with brain cancer following the unexpected death of his older brother a few years ago. The Suite Dreams organization has helped so many families like this one and MNP was honored to lend a hand.
This event was truly life changing for the family in need and so many people were involved in order to make this remodel possible.

Blessings in a Backpack Award
On August 15th, 2019, MNP was honored with a commemorative plaque from Utica’s Blessings in a Backpack Committee for its years of dedication and support to the organization. MNP received the 2019 Community Service Award for Fighting Child Hunger in our Community.
Blessings in a Backpack is a non-profit organization that feeds school children in the United States who currently are fed during the week on the federally funded Free and Reduced Meal Program and are at risk of going hungry on the weekends.
As a company, MNP supports this organization by donations and by helping the organization pack food for the children multiple days throughout the school year.
MNP has been very involved with this organization for a couple years now and the award we received was the first to ever be handed out by the organization to any company. MNP was honored to receive this award and looks forward to continuing to help out this organization in the coming years.

Annual MNP Company Picnic
It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon here in Utica. Tents were pitched, food was being prepared, and the band was warming up before MNP employees and their families were welcomed into the event at 12 o’clock sharp!
Every year, MNP employees and their families are welcomed to a day of fun, food, and entertainment right on the grounds of MNP Corporation. MNP’s annual picnic shows appreciation to its employees and offers them a day to enjoy and relax with family and fellow employees. Every year the picnic consists of food, kids’ rides/games, musical entertainment, a casino tent for adults, and a service award ceremony honoring dedicated long term employees.
