Wassail

Wassail Wassail is a holiday greeting, loosely meaning "good health". It is also the name of a hot spiced drink traditionally served around the holidays.

I am sending invitations to local folks and those I know well. My house is only so big, otherwise I would invite the world. If you are visiting in the area and would like to attend RSVP as indicated or go to the web site and get further contact information. Would you like to create your own Wassail Party? I would like to make it a trend. It is a great way to celebrate the Holidays. You can get Wassail recipes at my web site:

All you need for a successful Wassail Party is a lot of good will, some nice decorations, a caldron or two of Wassail, a brief carol sing and lots of friends. Beyond that, you can be as creative as you like. Let me know if you host your own Wassail Event. I would love hear about it. Can you guess which films or stories these quotes are from? "God Bless Us, Everyone!"

"No one is a failure, who has friends." "Faith is believing, when common sense tells you to do otherwise." "All you can take with you, is that which you've given away." For directions go to: http://www.pencandle.com/Wassail/

One of my favorite singer song writer. He was very popular during my college years, 1969 through 1973, especially in Plattsburgh NY, near the Canadian border.

Gordon Lightfoot, the folk singer-songwriter known for “If You Could Read My Mind" and "Sundown” and for songs that told tales of Canadian identity, died Monday.
