This 3 bedroom, 2 and 1/2 bathroom cabin is located in Valle Crucis - close to Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Valle Crucis Overlook is a beautiful 3BR vacation home. Built in 2010, the cabin is centrally located, with a short drive to Valle Crucis, Boone, Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain or Banner Elk. However, once you reach the cabin, you will enjoy a serene setting - br

eathtaking views during the day, a sky full of stars at night, and absolute quiet - no road noise whatsoever!! The house has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and high windows in the main living area. The living room has exposed timbers, a stacked stone fireplace with gas logs for cozy winter days and a 60 inch mounted flat screen TV and blue-ray DVD player. There is a spacious back deck with huge views from the Boone area all the way to Tennessee and a gas grill, bar height dining table for 4 and 2 rockers. The view looks out over Valle Crucis across the Boone area to the Rich Mountain Range which begins with Howards K**b in Boone and runs northwest into Tennessee. In summer, this view is rich and verdant, and in winter the peaks are usually snow covered. The front of the home boasts a large flagstone patio with a ten foot stone fireplace, complete with outdoor chairs and dining table. The living room is comfortably arranged with plenty of seating and opens to the dining and kitchen areas with half bath in the main hall. The delightful kitchen has granite counters and stainless appliances including a dishwasher and is thoroughly stocked by the owners for almost any conceivable cooking activity by their guests. The living room looks out onto the covered front porch with a swing for lazy days in summer. The location is private near the end of a non-thru street. The King master suite, which has a wonderful view, is on the main floor with a flat screen TV and DVD player. The master bath has double sinks, granite counters and slate shower. Stairs from the living room go up to a cozy loft - the perfect place to read or use the high-speed wireless internet access. Upstairs there is a queen bedroom, a bedroom with bunk beds (double-sized mattress below and twin-sized mattress above) and a hallway full bath. Both of the upstairs bathrooms have flatscreen TVs, and the bedroom with the bunk beds has a DVD player and XBOX Kinect. There is high speed wifi throughout the property and hulu to enjoy on the 4 flat screen TV's. The home has central forced air conditioning for those rare days when A/C is needed here in the mountains. There is a washer and dryer on the main level and many other touches provided by the owners for the comfort of their guests.
