Our family accidentally found ourselves learning this first-hand when one of our parties received a complimentary upgrade upon check in at Coronado Springs. That was two years ago and, when it’s in the budget, it’s our go-to room category. Coronado Springs is the only moderate level resort with a club, all the others are deluxe resorts.
The club level amenities are such a luxury, especially if you have small children. Every day they offer hot breakfast options from 7am to 10am. This often includes a tasty frittata or fresh (not powdered) scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, and most importantly, an espresso machine. While lunch is probably not enough food for the average adult, it is definitely enough for your toddler who only eats PB&J (these are available all day upon request so you can take some to the park with you). They also have crackers, veggies, cookies, and other small snacks. Hors d’oeuvres are more than the basic food you get at other chain hotels: there’s often a protein, a pasta, and other tasty appetizers. Then from 8pm to 10pm, they bring out desserts, fruit, and alcoholic drinks. The perfect way to end your day. Much of this, and other things like Mickey premium bars, are available all day. There’s also a fridge fully stocked with water, soda, milk, juice, apple slices, yogurt, and more.
But it’s not just about the food and drinks. It’s also about the people. The cast members in the club are attentive and eager to help you have the most magical vacation, whether it’s with free lightning lanes, little gifts sent to your room, or just playing with your kids for a few minutes so you can drink your mimosa in peace, they are all prepared to go above and beyond.
