A guest discovered an issue that we had zero indication of in our kitchen! So we've removed everything and sanitized the entire kitchen! And of course, apologized and apologized! I'm mostly embarrassed that I didn't catch this myself with all the cleaning I do! But we are not perfect, therefore we must ask for forgiveness! Hopefully this issue has been resolved today and it never happens again!

Once again, I'm truly amazed of all of the different lives I've been able to connect with just by opening a home in little old Van Wert, Ohio! We hosted Tom tonight on his travels through North America. I shared my experience with my oldest daughter tonight. It's my hope that all these experiences will create beautiful memories for her in her adult life! Ps...she's finally embracing the namesake of the house and has started calling it her house recently!

to one year ago! I had just got the ceilings and trim all painted bright white. I was working on the wall paint. The whole downstairs was all the color on the left. Ceilings, trim, windows and walls were all the same color! I think it looks so much better now!

This custom piece completes the dining room! I've been searching for the perfect fit since we opened last spring. I reached out to for some help. She showed me this piece and it was love at first sight! She refinished it and put her love into it! Now it's perfectly eclectic for our charming house!
