Color came late this year, but when it did arrive the red oaks were spectacular! AND, they still are. These pictures was taken today, 12/18/24, heading up the mountain on 337 going to The Lodges at Lost Maples and at The Lodges at Lost Maples. It's going to be a perfect weekend to get out and enjoy a Christmas break hike at Garner or Lost Maples State Natural Area - Texas Parks and Wildlife.
