Siesta Beach in Sarasota FL ranks No. 9 on TripAdvisor list

A huge Sargassum seaweed mass is headed towards the US and Gulf coasts which can be seen from space. Measurements say it is 2Xs the width of the United States, and will choke out sun and vegetation killing fish and emitting hydrogen sulfide killing fish and causing major breathing problems. With Red Tide already impacting the area killing off millions of fish which are rotting on West Coast beaches, this is not a dream vacation for visitors to Sarasota and Venice beaches

Amazing find while diving off the Venice beach: a 13 ft Colombian Mammoth tusk! The Columbian mammoth averaged 13ft tall and far larger than the wooly mammoth or the present day elephant. They roamed the earth over 1.3 MILLION years ago.

Additional finds in the past month have included a 5.7" megladon shark's tooth, and an intact mammoth tooth still in the jaw bone.
