FWC has caught up with the latest closure that NOAA announced with harvesting Lane Snappers in federal waters, they are now closed as of December 13th in State waters. This was announced in the committee meeting FWC had on December 11th!
What that means is we are not allowed to harvest any Lane Snapper in State waters or Federal waters for the next two weeks and will reopen on January 1st hopefully along with Red Grouper.
Make sure to get your winter dates in so we can catch and eat some good fish!

On another note Red Snapper is still open until December 31st!

Back to back charters with my awesome repeats. Got a a nice size Rock Hind Grouper, bunch of Mangrove Snappers, big lanes that we had to release, gag Groupers and a big Shark!
