Welcome to the Ventnor Happy Hours Cottage, the perfect place to "Seas" the day just 200 steps from the beach! MONTHLY ONLY (Summer months = 4 weeks)
Guests in our recently renovated 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath summer cottage can look forward to:

SPACIOUS FRONT PORCH: perfect for people watching
RENOVATED KITCHEN: designed to combine modern efficiency with the cottage's vintage charm
REMODELE

D BATHROOM: classic black and white design
ADDITIONAL BATH and LAUNDRY ROOM: the perfect combination of comfort and convenience
CHARMING PATIO with DINING and BBQ (summer guests only)

Interiors:
We are very particular about the cleanliness of the places we stay. The flooring is comprised of natural hardwood and porcelain tile with sisal rugs. All soft surfaces are steam cleaned between each guest. All hard surfaces (including furniture and accessories) were recently painted using low to zero VOC materials. We enclose each mattress in allergy/pest proof coverings. We use green practices wherever possible, including wind energy and easy to access recycling bins for your convenience. We do not allow smoking in the cottage and/or patio/porch areas. We stay busy during the off-season looking for ways to elevate your stay at the Cottage. In order to keep the Cottage fresh, cozy and comfortable, every year we select one component in the Cottage to update, refresh, replace, or improve. Every other year linens are replenished and household amenities restocked or updated before they begin to look “tired.”


What’s included:

Window AC units throughout, with ceiling fans, screen doors and plenty of cross ventilation
Games, puzzles, books and craft activity supplies for the rare rainy day
Linens
Kitchen Pantry basics (spices, etc.) Toaster, blender, electric tea kettle and coffee maker
Beach badges (Guests 12 and older are required to have badges)
Beach chairs
Beach buggy to cart your supplies


Transportation:
Walk, take the Jitney, grab the bus, use your bike, or take a quick cab ride and never use your car! We can arrange to pick you up at the train if you are from the city and don’t have transportation. NO PETS ALLOWED AND NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES, PORCH OR PATIO

Due to the impending weather, we regret to inform you that today's concert has been canceled.

We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you all this Saturday night for the Summer Beach Jam at Newport Ave and the Beach!

Join us for an amazing evening with Funk Daddy, who will be taking the stage from 6 PM to 9 PM.

Unfortunately, The Flynns had to cancel due to health reasons, but we're excited to have Funk Daddy bring the vibes to the beach!

PSA, Our sister concert series starts tomorrow evening, Wednesday 6/26 at Kennedy Plaza on the boardwalk in front of Boardwalk Hall. Grammy Nominated Victor Wainwright and The Train kick off Mardi Gras on the Boardwalk! “If you wanna boogie get aboard this Train/Get yourself a ticket or get out of the way…” The show starts at 7 pm. Easy parking under Boardwalk Hall for $10! Up the stairs to the free show! It's going to be a good one!

JERSEY GUMBO COOK OFF & LOUISIANA MUSIC FESTIVAL
to highlight MARDI GRAS IN JULY weekend in SOMERS POINT!!
Monday July 8th 3-11pm

With the distinctive sounds of the world’s most famous Cajun fiddler,
Waylon Thibodeaux, wafting through the air, you’ll be strolling the
tropical grounds of the gorgeous POINT TIKI BAR on the historic Somers
Point bay front & tasting the most delicious gumbo made this side of
the Bayou state.

Starting at 3pm you’ll be able to taste all the gumbo you care to eat from
some of the greatest chefs in South Jersey, including last year’s king gumbo
chef, David Goldstein from the American Culinary Federation, and the most fabulous contenders from Resorts Casino Hotel as well as the phenomenal,
fine dining, field to table restaurant, Smithville Inn.

The strongly flavored and long simmered 2023 people’s choice winning
gumbo from Gregory’s will be right along side the exotic flavors of Chef Niko
of Galloway Casual Dining, and the new contender this year, Louisiana’s
Chef Tyson Merryman from The Tuckahoe Inn.

While enjoying three hours of tasting for only $20 you’ll enjoy the rhythm &
blues sounds from Dan Levin’s New Orleans band and vote for “the people’s choice“ gumbo.

After all the chefs have put their best foot forward, the new gumbo chef
king will be crowned, and Tony Mart’s will present another great show!
One of the stars of Tab Benoit’s internationally famous “ Voice of the Wetlands
Allstars”, Waylon Thibodeaux, will demonstrate in his Cajun way why he is considered one of the best fiddlers in the world. Having performed for over 30 years on Bourbon Street, he was one of the most beloved performers on that infamous street and he will bring Bourbon Street to Bay Avenue!

All night there will be entertainment including a full allstar band with Ben Levin
playing Dr. John, Art Neville and Professor Longhair with South Jersey’s greatest, Howard Isaacson and Bobby Ferguson providing the New Orleans brass.

After all of that Billy Walton & Destinee Monroe will join the party with them
and funk it up with the music of The Neville’s and The Meters and take us
home Mardi Gras style!!!

Exclusive VIP cabanas complete with eight tasting wristbands and plenty of
room for your guests will be available for only $200. This will be a fabulous
finish to the MARDI GRAS IN JULY weekend in Somers Point, where everyone
will “let the good times roll”!
