Other amenities include canoe, fishing boat, games, fishing poles, firepit, covered grilling area, patio and outdoor table and seating for 6, full kitchen and more. The story goes missionaries settled here in the 1940's because Sybil Lake is tucked away and seemed like a perfect hiding place from the Nazi's. When the USA declared victory, the missionaries mortared in a "V" for victory in the stone

fireplace, which dons granite, rocks, and crystals from all over the world. Our grandparents purchased this hidden gem in the early 60's as a summer retirement home. Now us sisters (Kerri and Kelly) share it together. We've kept the original charm as much as possible (except for a bathroom remodel) because our grandparents thought the lake was for fun, not for work. We've never had a TV or internet. All of our guests over the years agree there is something very magical and sacred about visiting here. Going off the grid and getting back to enjoying the sun, the water and going barefoot will bring you right back to "the good old days". If you would like further information about staying at our cottage, please message us or email us and we will send you detailed information about the cottage and prices.
