I've been MIA online this week, but things for Dyno Outfitters and Dyno Rock Gym (.vernal) have been trucking along!

✅ Worked with our proforma to have a better idea on pricing and income.
✅ Turned in the next pieces for my Wildcat Microfund application.
✅ Spoke with some potential guides who I'm SO stoked to have met!
✅ Applied for the Rise & Thrive Business Pitch Competition!
✅ Made it through 2/3 of the online portion of my Wilderness First Responder course! 😅
✅ Got the business license process started.
✅ Laid tile in the places it was missing.
✅ Deep cleaned the shop in preparation for paint!
✅ And (unrelated to the business, but I'm still stoked about it) finished up the first draft of my quest for the very cool Teen Adventure Quest app I'm helping to create 😎

Whew! It's hard to get back at it when the weather is so nice and we all just want to go play in the sunshine, but it's also very exciting to see things start to come together. Today will be another productive day, and tomorrow will be a delightful day off. 💚

Thanks for all the support, whether it's cleaning or watching kids or bringing veggie trays, I have so much gratitude for you all!

I'm updating the business plan for Dyno Outfitters and Dyno Rock Gym (.vernal) today in preparation for applying for some funding, and I wanted to share this awesome resource with any other entrepreneurs out there: the Wildcat MicroFUND.

It's a grant-based program for entrepreneurs who are just starting out (truly! You can apply to this thing with only an idea in your head). If you're accepted into the program, you are assigned a mentor who then helps you flesh out your business plan and actually implement steps to take your company from an idea to an actual thriving business. Funding, accountability, mentorship... it's a fantastic program and more of us should take advantage of it!

Demo Day! Last weekend we were thankful for some really awesome help, so we got busy cleaning the place up and taking out a built-in front counter. This weekend we're working on the guide breakroom/office, swapping lights to LED, and removing damaged tile. Progress!

Allow us to introduce ourselves; we're Dyno Outfitters, Vernal's first gear rental and guide service for the Ashley Gorge Via Ferrata! (Finally Facebook official... we're moving on up in the world 😏). We'll offer climbing gear for sale and rent, plus guided tours of the AGVF and other vertical adventures.

The AGVF isn't open quite yet and neither are we, but we're busy getting the shop ready to outfit you for your via ferrata adventures this summer. 😁 Like and follow our page to be the first to find out about sweet deals on gear and the latest on the AGVF!
