A Main Street Christmas & Christmas on the Western Trail Lighted Parade

Join us for a festive celebration in Vernon, Texas this weekend on December 14th! A Main Street Christmas, in conjunction with the Christmas on the Western Trail Lighted Parade, will feature a variety of holiday activities for the whole family.

Enjoy the warmth of hot chocolate, watch the lighting of the tree at the Wright Pavilion, and get creative with cookie decorating. Plus, don’t miss the Holiday Harmony Concert by Vernon Child Care Partners, sure to fill the air with beautiful seasonal music.

Join us for A Main Street Christmas on Saturday, December 14th, as our Main Street and the Wright Pavilion transform into our very own Hallmark moment.

Santa and his elves, cookie decorating, hot cocoa, ornament making, and The Grinch, are just a few of the fun things you will find downtown!

The most special treat will be the Vernon Child Care Partners hosting their Holiday Harmony Concert at the Wright Pavilion for all to enjoy just before the LIGHTING OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE and PARADE.

You will not want to miss the lighting of the new tree in the Wright Pavilion at 5:30 followed by the famous Christmas on the Western Trail Parade at 6 pm.

After the parade be sure to take your family and friends around town to enjoy the hard work our neighbors put into these Christmas Lanes!

We are The Most Sizzlin' Little Town in Texas!! Want Proof? Join us for Bacon City on October 19th Josh Abbott Band will be rocking the streets of Vernon and we will be serving up the best Wright Brand Bacon!

Downtown musical line-up for Saturday, April 6th! We will have Shop Vocal in Downtown Vernon from 2pm-5pm. Each participating business will offer LIVE music while you shop. They will also have instruments you can play at The Bumble B Refinery. Canvas, so you can add your special brush stroke, at the Vine & Co., and coloring sheets for the kids at C&N Flowers & Gifts! Some will even offer themes such as "dress as your favorite musician" at Somethin' More and Somethin' for Everyone. Plus CMC Décor wants you to come decked out in your favorite 90's Theme. Refreshments can be found at Pepperberries. Shop Vocal is going to ROCK while you SHOP!
