Calling all sea lovers. Just because your weekend got cancelled does not mean you still can’t join the land lovers and watch a movie about yourself.

Our second outdoor movie night at the park! Saturday, August 15th the Village will be sponsoring movie night at Sunset Park at 8:15 PM. There will be limited parking spots for people that want to watch from their cars or you can bring chairs and blankets to sit out in the grass. Social distancing will be required.

Questions & Answers:

Is the swim area open? No. The swim area is not open. Swimming in the water is NEVER swim at your own risk. The water is State regulated. There are signs along the beach stating swimming is allowed in the permitted swim area only.

Is the beach open? Yes. Our beach is open if you maintain social distancing.

Please call The Village of Sylvan Beach with questions regarding the beach and swim area 315-762-4844.

Are the restrooms open? Yes

Are the restaurants open? Yes, all are open and serving take-out. Some have also reopened for inside dining and following NYS Guidelines of 50% capacity. Please contact restaurants directly for more information.

Is the amusement park open?
The Amusement Park will not be opening for the 2020 Season.

Can we fish at Sylvan Beach? Yes, the pier is open we ask that everyone respects social distancing that still remains in place.

Is parking free? No. Paid parking has resumed for the summer season.

Will there be fireworks this weekend? Unfortunately, no. We will not be holding fireworks this weekend.

Unfortunately we have just gotten word that our July 5th fireworks will not be happening this year. However, other counties might be having them and we can see many other fireworks across the lake at one time. So although ours might be canceled you might be able to see many at one time.
