Batesville Main Street has launched the sale of the 2024 Batesville Main Street Holiday Ornament.

A 2023 design contest was held and the winner of the design for the 2024 ornament was Katie Rauch. Her design was reproduced by Tim Weberding Woodworking. The ornament is currently available at Bird in a Tree Boutique and Sunshine Sisters Plant Shop. Head out tonight and pick up your ornament to kick off the holiday season.

Congratulations to our member of the month, Laughery Valley Veterinary Hospital!!

Laughery Valley Veterinary Hospital was founded by Dr. Harley Robinson in 1979. After graduating from Dillsboro High School, Indiana Central College and, Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, he saw a need for veterinary services in southern Ripley County and western Dearborn County. Starting a veterinary hospital or any business from scratch is a daunting task. The animal owning people of this area made the project successful. For decades they have shown their appreciation of good vet care for their animals.

For the past 45 years the veterinarians, technicians and staff have been providing quality medical and surgical services to the animals in the surrounding area. In previous years, livestock as well as pets were cared for. Today, the hospital focuses on dogs and cats only. Dr. Robinson continues to work part time at the clinic. He has been blessed with many dedicated staff members over the years. Our team of doctors is rounded out by Dr Kelli Cobler, Dr Justine Yatsko and Dr Debbie Kemper for a combined total of 61 years of professional experience.
