We took the winter rental season off to take on a major renovation of HHMtn Happy's kitchen, mudroom, and baths, and we are mid-project. Cannot wait to share the finished results with you all! So far, we've removed the wall between the kitchen and the great room, said goodbye to its dated cabinetry and counters, moved the HVAC returns, demoed the upstairs bathroom, main floor bathroom and utility room, and begun untangling some of the craziest wiring anyone involved in the project has ever seen! Here's a first look at the new kitchen space...

The best Christmas trees come from Watauga County! Cornett Deal Tree Farm is where we often get HHMtn Happy's trees, since its just minutes down the mountain from here, and the apple cider really is as good as they say.
