One our favorite “slow down” things to do in Disney’s Magic Kingdom is have lunch on the hub grass and either watch a parade go by or watch the afternoon stage show. My kiddos prefer corndog nuggets from Casey’s Corner, my husband and I prefer cheeseburger spring rolls from the cart at the beginning of Adventure Land.

We obviously miss them when we are home so I found the recipe in my unofficial Disney cookbook and made them today.

Now that we are home, rested and mostly back to our normal. I would love to share some of my favorite parts of our trip!

First up, our resort!

We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside in a Woods View-5th Sleeper room. It had 2 queen beds and a pull down single bed. Our room was in the alligator bayou section, which had a beautiful walk to the lobby, resturants, gift shop and main pool area. The 2 transportation options for this resort is busses to the parks and water taxi to Disney Springs.

2 of my favorite extra things you can reserve here is a horse drawn carriage ride and family bikes! We did not try them this time but they would be fun ways to see Port Orleans Riverside and neighboring resort Port Orleans French Quarter. The horse drawn carriage is something I can help you book as well. The bikes I believe were first come first serve.
