Been a slow start to the summer but ready to get after it. Had a some good dolphin fishin in the morning and caught our first white marlin of the season.

Fun morning swordfishin. Caught this one settin out. Pulled another off and had a few more bites.

Inshore fishing is great in between the blows this fall. This afternoon we caught 3 drum up to 49 inches a spinner shark and about a 300+ lb sand tiger. Get out there while you can!

Ocean calmed down this afternoon and caught 5 cobias. One was tagged so we will see where it was from. Should be a good fall.

First day back in the new boat. Pulled a few more off. Glad to be back on the water.

It is both a sad day and a happy day for the Top Notch. The current Top Notch, the 5th boat we built, has been sold. The good news is the new owner will be fishing out of Rudee Inlet. It will be great to be able to fish side by side with our new Top Notch, expected to be complete and back at the vbfc in May.

Slow fishin but made up for it with a little bottom fishin. Caught a nice wahoo to top it off at the end.

Never saw any billfish today but made up for it with a few dolphins.

At one piont we had two tuna bring eaten behind the boat and 5 drifter bites, all sharks! Lots of rigging!

Tunas finally made a showing again. It was tough to get them through the sharks though. They took more than there share.

Had our day in the Virginia Beach tuna tournament today. Choppy ride out but caught a few. I think I stringer was a little over 147.

A huge manta ray cost us most of the mornin fighting one for 2hrs. Had a slow pick for the rest of the day
