Coastal Accommodations, a local Virginia Beach property management company, that specializes in vacation rental management and operations, is seeking to fill a maintenance personnel position to oversee minor maintenance and home upkeep. Job tasks will require this individual to be responsive and timely, detail-oriented, proactive, and a clear communicator. Skills requested include minor HVAC and plumbing knowledge among minor handyman repairs including light bulb changes, battery changes, air filter replacements, painting, tightening of furniture, appliance inspection, painting, and aesthetic repairs, diagnosing and looking into solutions for potential issues to prevent major ones, and anything that we encounter. We are seeking a team player readily available to keep these vacation rentals in tip-top shape for our guests. Skilled in being able to converse and present oneself in a professional manner to guests who may be in the home is a must. Workload will vary by season, with peak spring and summer season the most demanding.

This job will pay an hourly rate based on experience and skill set.

This is a great opportunity to work for a growing business. A good candidate for this position would help Coastal Accommodations grow their portfolio of homes with the hopes that this would become a full-time position down the road.
