Curtis Duncan submitted a 11.08-pound bass to the TPWD ShareLunker program. Curtis caught this bass from O.H. Ivie Reservoir on 08/09/2024 and was awarded with the Strike King Elite Class.

Once again- Ivie remains the FIRST place to go for the entire Central Divison and is Second in the Nation for Bass Fishing! Bassmaster declared Ivie a "freak show" lake for big fish and that "there is absolutely no sign of the phenomenal fishery slowing down"!

Lane Olson (left) caught Legacy Class ShareLunker 652 weighting in at 13.26 pounds and Bobby Waldon's (right) Legacy Class lunker weighed 14.75 pounds. Both ShareLunkers were caught at O.H. Ivie. This weather signifies the beginning of the sharelunker season! Last year, today the first Legacy Share Lunker was caught for the 2023 season when Tom Nilssen weighed-in his 13.52 pound monster! His was the 1st of 18 Legacy's contributed to the 2023 Toyota Sharelunker Program- 15 of those came from O.H. Ivie! 2023 proved, yet again, that O.H. Ivie is the best lake to catch a monster!

With the weather getting colder at night and into next week we're hoping to see more Legacy giants taking the bait!

Next Monday into Tuesday, there is a possibility of light snow accumulations, primarily north of I-20. There is still quite a bit of uncertainty in the forecast, and right now, we are not expecting impacts from this event, but we wanted to keep everyone informed.
