It's North Dakota Tourism Week! And we have to start the week with our grand attraction: Chahinkapa Zoo.

The zoo was established in 1933 and is home to white rhinos, kangaroos, otters, bison, llamas, zebras, leopards, grizzly bears, cheetahs, monkeys, an orangutan, and many birds and reptiles.

Starting May 13, zoo hours will be 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, 7 days a week.

Our first featured artists for 2021's 3rd annual Borderline Chalkfest in Wahpeton is returning artist Erik Greenawalt from Pittsburgh, PA. Erik has been creating art all over the world and we are excited to have him back again this year to create another masterpiece!

This years festival is Saturday July 17th and Sunday July 18th! Looking forward to seeing many familiar faces from both the artists side and also all the amazing people that come and view the art!
