Napua is a small, intimate restaurant with delicious dishes, talented live music, and breathtaking views of Makaiwa Bay. They serve the best bread (as pupu/appetizer) we have ever tasted (it melts in your mouth!), enjoyed the most delicious entrees and desert, while listening to the smooth, live music of Vaughn Valentino (parring the talent of IZ, in our opinion). He is a recurring artist at Napua twice per week--check him out!

Napua is a family-owned, non-hotel affiliated restaurant that is locally sourced. Their service was superb from beginning to end: host, waiter, and staff who even operate as photographer 😄 ... all with genuine aloha spirit! 🌺

Meet the faces behind Hale Nene Waikoloa, the perfect home away from home on the Big Island of Hawaii! 🌸🌴

We are both Navy Veterans and first fell in love with Hawaii while stationed on Oahu. While living in Hawaii, we traveled to all of the major islands in the Hawaiian chain. In fact, we got engaged, had our wedding, and went on our honeymoon on three different islands of Hawaii!

We were drawn to the Big Island for its adventure, beautiful and diverse beaches, volcanoes, and overall vast array of climate zones.

We love nothing more than sharing our slice of paradise with others, and we look forward to hosting you!
