Quicksilver Boat Tours Maui The Quicksilver is Maui's premier whale watch vessel now operating from Maalaea Harbor. Lanai has a resident pod of over 100 Spinner Dolphins.

The Quicksilver is Maui's premier Dolphin and Snorkel Adventure to Lanai, and the thing to do while you are on Maui! Experience the rare opportunity to travel and see an entirely new Hawaiian island, Lanai. Lanai is the Pineapple Island, and is home to incredible snorkel destinations and sea life. Passengers commonly see Spinner Dolphins, which jump and spin in the air! Snorkel destinations are beneath towering cliffs that climb to over 300 feet. The photo opportunities are unbeatable. You will be one of the few people in the world to snorkel locations like Shark Fin Rock and Manele Bay, each with up to 100 feet of visibility and in remote areas of Lanai. This is also one of Maui's best kid's activities. The trip begins in the famous Lahaina Harbor, boarding conveniently from Pier One, across from the Pioneer Inn. Once you arrive at the first destination on the Lanai coastline, use the provided snorkeling equipment to explore the underwater world, and take advantage of the water slide for more fun, especially to entertain kids. A crew member is in the water at all times watching over the snorkelers and lending any assistance, if needed. You can also take a peek at the reef without getting in the water via the glass-bottom viewing area. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, soda, and juice are all included!

Kahekili’s Leap looks down into one of the best snorkeling sites on our Lanai snorkeling tour. According to ancient Hawaiian legend, the rock was the birthplace of cliff jumping and was used by King Kahekili, to test his warriors' loyalty and bravery.

Legend has it the king would climb up the rock in the early mornings and jump 200 feet into the water below. What's more challenging is the fact that the rocks at the base of the cliff extend about 15 feet outwards and the water is only about 10-20 feet deep with a very rocky ocean floor.
Surviving every jump unscathed, Kahekili became some sort of a god in the eyes of his warriors and people.

Humpback whales are known for singing loud, complex “songs”, which can last for up to 30 minutes.

The sounds they make are the most varied in the animal kingdom, ranging from high-pitched squeals and whistles to low, rumbling gurgles.

Many whale watching boats have a device called a 'hydrophone' which allows passengers to hear the whales around them. Pretty cool!
