Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse!! 🥳🎉🎂

Mickey’s birthday is celebrated on November 18th, the day he first appeared in the 1928 animated short film Steamboat Willie. Steamboat Willie was the first cartoon to have synchronized sound, and Walt Disney himself voiced Mickey's squeaks.

Happy Vacation Day to the “S” family who just checked into Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. The first half of the week they’ll be visiting all the Disney theme parks and attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. 🎄🎁

And then “poof” with the flick of a wand they’ll be staying at Universal Orlando’s Hard Rock Resort the second half of the week and visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. 🤓⚡️

The view from inside the Skyliner Gondolas 🚡We took one from Hollywood Studios to the Caribbean Beach hub and from there transferred to the Epcot line. It was a smooth ride with a nice breeze.

The new Skyliner Gondolas 🚡 opened to the public September 29, 2019. I’ll be catching a ride on one a little later today, but in the meantime here’s a quick video.

Ok I have to share my nephew’s first attempt at stop motion animation using just his Star Wars lego set and his phone. He’s only 14 and is super creative and imaginative. I told him he should stick with it and maybe work for Disney one day. And as the opening of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is approaching on August 29th at Walt Disney World Resort, he told me I could share it and use it as a “promo”. There’s no sound, only video, but a Star Wars fan can use the force and “hear” the music with their mind. Video credit: Nathan Findley
