Karen Haley started A Leg Up in 1983 to fill a demand for beautiful and durable custom riding chaps. 30 years later, A Leg Up still provides equestrians with custom chaps made with the finest materials and an artist’s eye for detail. Karen’s leather work includes two-toned cut-work and punched designs as well as piping, fringe and embroidery. After receiving requests from customers for additional

items, A Leg Up expanded its line to include leather totes and envelopes, leather vests, custom sheepskin saddle pads and seat savers and custom belts. Our Motto has always been " you dream it, we'll create it." The "Bella Line" (named after Karen's wonderful French Bulldog), is a line of off-the-rack suede chaps with high-end features.
