We wanted to share some behind-the-scenes photos from our Trunk or Treat last Monday for those who couldn't attend or were otherwise just curious how it looked all set up. We fought a hard battle against unexpected 20+MPH winds but we aren't afraid of a little inclement weather here at Tower Self Storage. We appreciate everyone who came out despite the weather conditions. Thank you again to everyone who attended and our sponsors who made this all possible! We wanted to thank everyone for coming out to our First Annual Trunk or Treat! Despite the windy conditions, we had a terrific turnout! Thanks to all of you and our lovely sponsors. "I've read so many posts about being watched, followed or creeped out by people in our local stores. Having 2 littles that are over friendly, talkative and unaware that people might try to steal them from their momma I try not to go out alone with them. I like one on one defense! I have my license to carry but here is my other tip. Clip the kid to the cart! Belt loop and carabiner! This is not noticeable so if someone grabs while walking by they get caught up."

Today is national Move Over Day. We are reminding citizens that Maryland's Move Over law requires drivers to move over one lane for ANY stopped vehicle or equipment displaying warning signals. If it is not possible to move over a lane, drivers must slow down to a reasonable speed.

Operations on the roadway near travel lanes is dangerous for workers and motorists who have a roadside emergency, as too often inattentive drivers have struck people and vehicles causing numerous injuries and deaths. This law was designed to protect first responders, highway workers, tow truck drivers, but was expanded in 2022 to cover all stopped vehicles.
