⭐️ FUN FACT FRIDAY ⭐️

They aren't called snapping turtles for nothing.

Because of their size, snapping turtles cannot fit inside their shell so they snap to protect themselves. The average common snapping turtle can bite with a force of about 210 Newtons.

Corn snakes are non-venomous but are often mistaken for venomous copperheads. Copperheads, however, have hourglass-shaped (rather than square) blotches, and are generally browner than corn snakes.

Alligators have about 75 teeth in their mouth at any one time and as they wear down or break off, they are replaced. Many alligators can have nearly 3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ teeth throughout their lives.

We had a great day at the Wildlife Center today. Hendersonville Elementary came over and saw a great presentation from Twin Pines Exotics. Jim and Sheri did a great job presenting the animals.
