With the Olympics going on I thought I would share that we got to see the place the first ever Olympics took place in Athens Greece.

I am in month 8 of my health and fitness life. It feels great to be able to say this is my life now! I don’t even think I could go back to the inactive person I used to be. My body and mind crave nutrition and exercise on a daily basis now. I still have about 30-40 lbs I wanna lose and I know I’ll get there eventually. Before vacation I used my vacation as the main motivation to keep going. Now that it’s come and gone I have begun to reflect on what it is that will keep me going. Guys, it’s me! It’s self love and knowing that feeling optimally healthy is the greatest gift I can ever give myself! I’m a runner! I have many goals over the next few years of running that I wish to accomplish. I never thought those words would ever come out of my mouth but here I am saying them! This is no longer a journey for weight loss although that is happening too, this is WHO I am and WHO Iwas meant to be! This is my life now and I love it!

Stuck in London over night….
