⚠️ Friendly PSA from your local Travel Agent 👋

📌 If you want to travel over Spring Break or even this Summer (March-August) start planning like, YESTERDAY 😉

📌 Pricing is up. . . everywhere. That includes all things travel. What you could get for 3k a few years ago is not available now: think double and sometimes even higher. I have zero control over pricing, and I ask that you set your expectations realistically. I’m sorry, but I don’t have access to some secret vault with bargain prices on airfare. 🙃

📌”Deals” are harder and harder to come by. Gambling time to see if the price comes down may leave you with less than ideal options and/or increased pricing. Resorts and cruises are booked or sold out, and then they have no need to offer "deals".

📌Availability is already low for summer travel. This is not a scare tactic - it’s honest and based on my research for current client requests.

👉 This is busy season for our industry - your patience on my replies is SO appreciated!

📌 If you use a travel advisor (even if it’s not me) please, please, please don’t waste our time looking up trips that you aren’t sure will happen. The internet is for looking, we’re here for advising and booking. I want to help everyone, but there aren’t enough hours in the day. Please don’t ask to “pick my brain” if you have no intention of traveling or if you intend to book on your own.

💜 I try to reserve my evenings and weekends for my family.

I promise I’m not trying to single out anyone AND I’m doing the best I can. I know my job looks like fun. It is, and I absolutely love it. What you don’t see is the hours I spend on the phone when something goes wrong with a client’s trip, the relationships I cultivate on my own time with our amazing suppliers, and the amount of time I spend “behind the scenes” making my clients vacation dreams come true. We all ask that you respect what we do, just like you would expect in your own place of employment.
