Ми вдячні за цей цінний дар. Переглядаючи журнали, знаходимо багато дуже гарних ілюстрацій та виховних матеріялів. Видавцем журналу Центральна Управа СУМ Спілка Української Молоді. Оригінально журнал був друкований в Нью Йорку а наприкінці 1990-х років перенесений на Україну.
А collection of the magazine Krylati (1965-1983) was recently donated to our library. The publishers of this children’s/youth magazine are the main uprava of SUM Ukrainian Youth Association. The beautifully illustrated magazines contain valuable educational material.

Нещодавно наша бібліотека отримала дуже вартісний та цікавий подарок - життєпис та спогади Доктора Марії Кричфалушій- Балтарович. Сама назва книжки «Дочка Срібної Землі» чітко підкреслює велику любов авторки до рідної землі - Карпатської України. Життєві обставини Доктора Марії були тяжкі та скопліковані, але надзвичайний сильний дух та любов до життя допомогли її поборювати цій перешкоди. Читаючи книжку, ми довідуємося про особисті переживання Доктора Марії, її професійну карʼєру та довголітню громадську працю яку вона провадила в діаспорі і на Україні. У 1993 році Українське Лікарське Товариство Північної Америки нагородило її почесною грамотою: ”...має честь відзначити Доктора Марію Балтарович визначного лікаря, громадського діяча і мецената за жертвенну і безупинну працю свого народу”. В останньому розділу книжки під заголовком “Дорога Моя Родина - З квітучого дерева мого роду - Родинні події та звершення”
знаходимо чудовий родинний фотоальбом.
Складаємо велику подяку дочкам Доктора Марії - Оксані, Лесі та Марічці Балтарович за цей безцінний дар!
