This is a fantastic innovation.

Recently, I was at an airport in Europe and flying with Delta Air Lines, and they offered to use this hoist to get me to my plane seat. By using this hoist, we could avoid using the aisle chair. Instead, they’d just put a sling under me, lift me out of my wheelchair with the hoist, and then take me to my plane seat. I was so happy to see this option, as I’ve never been offered anything like this in previous trips. It’s wonderful to see air travel becoming a little more accessible & I hope that other destinations/airports will implement creative ways to make flying easier as well! ✈️♿️

This is very intriguing and I hope this standard becomes the norm. If you have had to help a wheelchair dependent person onto a plane you know how demoralizing it can be. This would be a total game changer!
