We have a cute store at the farm that you can visit and pick up fiber goods, eggs, and seasonal produce. We are a family-run diversified alpaca farm. We raise suri alpacas on pasture for their fiber and meat, laying hens on pasture for their eggs, and have a market garden. We have a FARM STORE filled with beautiful things you can take home with you. We are open for tours, summer camp, and school groups. Does your porch pot need an update for Fall? We still have some mums and flowering cabbages and kales, herbs and grasses . The colors on the flowering cabbage/kale are intensifying and really starting to look so pretty. Do take some home!

We just completed the Sketch the Alpacas event with local artist Dana M Johnson. The weather was sweet, the alpacas were cooperative models and enjoyable companions, and Dana got us all sketching and seeing with our artist eyes. “Art is for everyone,” she says. Dana always has a sketch pad and some pencils or pens with her to make a quick drawing, and encourages orders to do so, too.

I am really enjoying the mental space I’m in after spending some chill time with the animals and Dana’s coaching to got me working my neglected artist muscles.

Thank you to everyone who showed up. It was a lovely thing to do together this afternoon.

This event is part of Bayfield’s Art Escape week. We are proud to participate in this celebration of art, creativity, and fun. The wind, 💨 off the lake The sniffs and snorts The tearing, crunching and squeaking of alpacas eating spinach. Bringing you this content is as fun as it sounds. Nom nom.

The alpacas came in from the rain and slurped up some water. 💦

The way that one 🐓 pops up in front of the camera. 😅 Yes the chickens are getting all the attention right now because they are laying like crazy. We started fresh this year with new birds and are now only feeding certified organic feed. The farm store fridge is again full of their fresh eggs: healthy protein and vitamin-rich nutrition for you and your family. So enjoy them scrambled, hard boiled, however you like, with a little chicken humor on the side. 🍳

The hens are ABSOLUTELY ADAMANT that you know about their EGGS. They are turning all this certified organic chicken feed and spent microgreen trays and grubs, and good stuff into delicious eggs. The chickens are really proud of all their hard work and they will be mad at me if you don’t come to the farm and get some. I have been telling them how much we are enjoying their eggs in quiche, hard boiled, deviled eggs, but they still are not satisfied. They are really divas and attention hogs and are demanding more ADMIRATION! Come to the farm and stock up! 🍳🥚🐓🪻

Eggs (From chickens, now fed, certified organic feed) are back in the farm store. Micro greens and some garden produce as well. Spring is here and we’re back with the fresh goodies ! Stop by the farm 10 to 6 daily !
