Today we pause in remembrance of the 2,977 lives lost and thousands more injured during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

On this Patriot Day, we also recognize the bravery of first responders and good samaritans who risked their lives to help during and after the attacks, some making the ultimate sacrifice.

About us:
- Capitol River Cruises is a tour boat agency that offers customers an array of experiences on the Potomac River. We are a small, family owned and operated business that has been cruising for over 29 years.
- Our experiences offered range from sightseeing narrated tours to various types of private charters. Our private charters include All-You-Can-Eat Crab parties, Margarita cruises, work events, weddings, birthdays, etc. There is great opportunity for employees to earn tips on each of the charters.

Starting pay:
- $17-$25/hour + Tips

Job Requirements:
- MUST be available on weekends and holidays
- MUST be okay with working long hours (some days 12+ hours)
- No prior Deckhand/Bartending experience required but is preferred
- DC Law requires age 21+ to mix drinks
- USCG requires drug test and personnel to be enrolled in drug testing program
- Ability to lift heavy items and assist passengers on and off the vessel
Provide great customer service

Job Details:
- Cleaning/prepping the vessel at beginning and end of each shift
- Restocking snack bar, fridges and coolers for the day
- Handling rope to ensure vessel is properly secured at various docking locations
- Greet and assist passengers on and off the vessel
- Bartending (Mixing basic drinks and serving customers beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks)
