We’re overjoyed to share this beautiful love story that began on an Israel Outdoors trip! Lindsay and Idan met during their trip in December 2022. As an Israeli, Idan was part of the “mifgash” experience, which allows Israeli peers to join groups and travel alongside N. Americans. Despite living in different countries, their connection was undeniable. They decided to make it work, traveling between Israel and the U.S. for nearly two years. Last November, Idan proposed, and this September, they officially got married!

Stories like theirs remind us of the incredible impact our trips can have - creating not only unforgettable memories but lasting connections. Mazal Tov to .daher and ! 💍We wish you a lifetime of happiness together.

We’re thrilled to share that two of our amazing volunteers, and are engaged! Rebecca and Benjy met 9 months ago on one of our post-October 7th Birthright Israel Volunteer trips, a journey that brought them together in an unexpected and beautiful way.

As Rebecca shared:

“While we were both worried about traveling to Israel during the war, we trusted our gut and ended up in the same group, on the same floor, and at the same spot on the assembly line while volunteering. Although we started the trip as complete strangers, we quickly clicked and left knowing confidently that our story had only just begun.”
