Good Morning Fb family!!! I wanted to invite y'all to take a ride with me across our new, completely rebuilt, very sexy, Anacostia River bridge...The Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge!! Only one direction was open yesterday heading from Nats Park area to east of the Anacostia River area, but was still a treat... Also it didn't feel like a "grand opening" at all because the area is still very messy with construction (was hard to even get a good thumbnail picture for this video with all the cranes and what not)... But hey it's progress none the less right?

Hey Fb fam-a-lee!! Recently learned that the grounds of the historic Frederick Douglass Home opened once again to the public this past Tuesday, July 13th. The gates have been on lock down at least since the Covid-19 pandemic. Good to see progress, and excited how this will enhance the Anacostia walking tour going down every Sunday from 10am to 12 high noon...
