On the 27th of August, Dr. James Grady and Dr. Victoria Grady were pleased to present a program for regional high school principals at Jacksonville State University, focusing on the nature of the reactions found in teachers as the result of the introduction of new technologies in primary and secondary school classrooms. These reactions, or symptoms, have been found to resemble the findings of Elizabeth Kubler-Ross as published in her book "On Death and Dying". An understanding of the nature of these consequences will assist school administrators in the development of a plan to mitigate any negative reactions.

For the next few weeks we will post excerpts from Robert Ruark’s classic book The Old Man and the Boy.

It is written as the author’s recollection of his exploits as a young boy with his grandfather. Many of their adventures involved hunting and fishing, but for this series we will focus on the theme of Christmas. We hope you enjoy our adaptation of these excerpts: http://bit.ly/1yA7fNf
