AAC&U and Elon University's Imaging the Digital Future Center have released findings from a new survey of 337 university presidents and senior leaders about generative AI tools. The report delves into

▪️ how campuses are responding to the rise of AI;
▪️ the challenges and opportunities AI presents in higher ed; and
▪️ the transformative impacts leaders foresee for teaching, learning, and beyond.

For more than five decades, the Jefferson Lecture in the Humanities has helped shape the intellectual landscape of American culture.

During AAC&U’s free, public event, recent Jefferson Lecturers Ruth Simmons and Andrew Delbanco will revisit themes from their past lectures. AAC&U President Lynn Pasquerella will moderate a discussion of the role of institutions in confronting difficult histories and shaping more inclusive futures, as well as the ongoing struggle to understand and define the American ideal.
